Privacy Policy
This document explains what information Mi Guagua TF uses, why it is needed and how it is handled when you use the application.
Last updated: 23 August 2026
In short: Mi Guagua TF does not require you to create an account or provide personal data in order to use its main features. The device location is used to find nearby bus stops and calculate features related to the user's position. Favourites and preferences are stored locally on the device and are not sent to janubio.com servers.
1. Application controller
Mi Guagua TF was developed by Miguel Ángel Díaz Gómez, who is responsible for janubio.com, as an independent project intended to make it easier to consult information related to Tenerife's bus service.
Mi Guagua TF is not an official application of Transportes Interurbanos de Tenerife, S.A. (TITSA), does not belong to that entity and there is no affiliation, sponsorship or commercial relationship with TITSA unless expressly stated otherwise in the future.
2. Information used by Mi Guagua TF
The application may use certain information from the device only when necessary to provide its features:
- Device location: used to determine the user's position, find the nearest bus stops and provide functions related to the route to a stop.
- Favourites: stops, lines, places or locations that the user chooses to save as favourites are stored locally on the device.
- Application preferences: certain options required to preserve the user's chosen configuration may be stored locally.
Mi Guagua TF does not require a name, email address, password, telephone number or registration of its own account in order to use its main features.
3. Use of location
Location is required for certain application features, especially to detect the bus stops nearest to the user and to use the user's position as the origin or destination of a journey.
- Location access is requested using Android's standard permission mechanisms.
- The application uses location only when necessary for a visible function related to the user's position.
- janubio.com does not receive, store or create a remote history of the user's location.
- The user can deny or withdraw location permission from Android settings.
If permission is not available, features that depend directly on the device's position may be limited or unavailable.
4. Bus service information
Mi Guagua TF consults official public information or information accessible through TITSA services and datasets in order to display information related to the bus service.
This information may include stops, lines, routes, directions of travel, variants, timetables, upcoming buses and estimated arrival times available at any given moment.
This information is used exclusively to display and organise it within the application. janubio.com does not control the availability, accuracy, update frequency or continuity of the external services from which these data originate.
5. Local storage
Mi Guagua TF may store information on the device itself when needed to provide certain features:
- Favourites created by the user, including stops, lines, assigned names and associated locations where applicable.
- Application preferences and settings.
- Temporary technical information required for the normal operation of certain screens.
This information remains on the device and is not sent to janubio.com servers. The user can delete it using options available within the application, by clearing the application's data from Android or by uninstalling the application.
6. Third-party services
Mi Guagua TF uses or may interact with third-party services required for certain features. These services are governed by their own privacy policies and terms of use.
- TITSA: source of information related to the bus service that the application consults in order to display up-to-date data.
- Google Maps: may be opened when the user requests to view a location or start a route to a stop or favourite.
- Google Play and Android services: may be involved in distributing the application and in standard operating-system features.
When Mi Guagua TF opens an external application or service, any information processing carried out by that service is subject to its own policies.
7. Sharing, sale and advertising use
janubio.com does not sell, rent or disclose to third parties the user's location, favourites or preferences stored by Mi Guagua TF. This information is also not used to create advertising profiles.
If future versions introduce additional services involving new forms of information processing, this policy will be updated before those services are used whenever necessary.
8. Retention and deletion
Favourites, preferences and other local information remain on the device for as long as they are needed for the operation of the application or until the user deletes them.
The user can delete this information using Mi Guagua TF's own features where available, by clearing the application's data from Android settings or by uninstalling the application.
janubio.com does not retain a remote copy of this information.
9. Device permissions
Mi Guagua TF requests only the Android permissions required for its features. These may include access to the device's location in order to detect nearby stops.
Internet access is required to obtain up-to-date bus service information and to use features that depend on external services.
Any additional permission introduced in future versions must be related to a specific application feature and will be requested in accordance with Android's permission mechanisms.
10. Children and minors
Mi Guagua TF is an informational public transport application and does not require the creation of its own account. The application is not designed to deliberately collect personal information from minors.

The information displayed should be considered indicative. For official information on incidents, timetables, service conditions or any other matter relating to the operation of bus services, users should consult TITSA's official channels.
12. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect changes to Mi Guagua TF, the services it uses or applicable regulations. The current version will be the version published on this page and will display its date of update.
