Terms and Conditions
Terms applicable to the access, installation and use of Mi Guagua TF.
Last updated: 8 September 2026
Use of Mi Guagua TF requires prior acceptance of these terms. If the user does not accept them, they will not be able to access the application. Mi Guagua TF is an independent application designed to make it easier to consult information and plan journeys on Tenerife's bus service and does not replace TITSA's official channels, applications, notices, signage or communications.
1. Identification and nature of the service
Mi Guagua TF is an application developed by Miguel Ángel Díaz Gómez — janubio.com — to make it easier to consult information related to Tenerife's bus service and to provide useful tools for journeys.
Mi Guagua TF is not an official application of Transportes Interurbanos de Tenerife, S.A. (TITSA), does not act on its behalf and there is no implied affiliation, sponsorship or commercial authorisation. Trademarks, names, logos and other distinctive signs belonging to third parties remain the property of their respective owners.
2. Requirements for use
Mi Guagua TF is intended for use on compatible Android devices. Some features require an Internet connection and others require the user to authorise access to the device's location.
It is not necessary to create a Mi Guagua TF account or provide a name, email address or password in order to use its main features.
The user is responsible for keeping their device appropriately secure and for granting only those permissions they consider appropriate.
3. Location and location-based features
Certain features use the device's location to determine the user's position, find the nearest bus stops and facilitate access to routes related to those stops.
Location access is managed through Android's permission mechanisms. If the user denies or withdraws this permission, features that depend on location may be limited or unavailable.
Mi Guagua TF must not be used as a safety-critical navigation system or as a substitute for official signage, instructions or directions encountered during a journey.
4. Information displayed and route planning
Mi Guagua TF organises and presents information obtained from external sources and services related to TITSA's transport service. This information may include stops, lines, routes, directions of travel, variants, timetables, upcoming buses, estimated arrival times and other public transport information.
The “Directions” feature calculates possible itineraries using its own algorithms and the information available, including timetables, stops, routes, connections and, where applicable, walking segments. The results are indicative suggestions and do not constitute a guarantee that the itinerary can be completed exactly within the times or under the conditions shown.
Both the calculations performed by the application and the data used may contain errors, omissions, delays, outdated information or differences from actual conditions. Service changes, incidents, delays, cancellations, route changes or other circumstances unknown to the application at the time of calculation may also occur.
In the event of any discrepancy, TITSA's official information, signage, notices, instructions and communication channels shall always take precedence.
5. Favourites and local storage
Mi Guagua TF may allow the user to save stops, lines, locations or places as favourites and, where applicable, assign them a name to make them easier to use later.
Favourites, preferences and other functional information are stored locally on the device. The user is responsible for the information they choose to enter and save through these features.
Uninstalling the application, clearing its data through Android or carrying out certain device maintenance operations may result in the loss of locally stored information.
6. Third-party services
Some Mi Guagua TF features depend on services provided by third parties. These may include systems that provide information about TITSA services, Google Maps, and standard Android and Google Play components or services.
When the user opens Google Maps or another external application from Mi Guagua TF, they begin using an independent service subject to its own terms of use and privacy policies.
janubio.com does not control the availability, operation, content, policies or changes made by these external services.
7. Connectivity and availability
Features that display up-to-date service information require an Internet connection and depend on the availability of external services.
janubio.com cannot guarantee that Mi Guagua TF will be continuously available or that external services will permanently maintain their interfaces, formats, update frequencies or access conditions.
The user is responsible for any connection, mobile data or roaming charges that may apply when using features that require Internet access.
8. Privacy and security
The handling of information is described in the Mi Guagua TF Privacy Policy.
Location, favourites and preferences used by the application must be managed in accordance with that policy. No system can be considered completely immune to failures, so users are advised to keep Android up to date and to protect their device appropriately.
9. Intellectual property
The code, design, texts and proprietary elements of Mi Guagua TF belong to its developer or are used in accordance with their respective licences. Copying, modifying, redistributing, decompiling, attempting to extract the source code or creating derivative versions is not permitted except where expressly authorised by law or by an applicable licence.
Names, trademarks, logos, maps, data and other elements belonging to third parties remain the property of their respective owners. Their reference within Mi Guagua TF is for descriptive, functional or informational purposes.
10. Free nature of the application and possible future changes
As of the date of this version, Mi Guagua TF is provided free of charge.
The application may incorporate new features, services or distribution models in the future. If any change involves payments, subscriptions or additional conditions, the relevant information must be shown to the user before any purchase, subscription or acceptance becomes necessary.
11. Updates, changes and withdrawal
Mi Guagua TF may be updated to correct errors, improve security, adapt to technical changes, modify its design or add new features. Some updates may be necessary in order to continue using certain features correctly.
janubio.com may modify, suspend or withdraw features for technical, legal, security or maintenance reasons, or because of changes to the external services on which the application depends.
12. Limitation of liability
Mi Guagua TF is provided exclusively as an auxiliary information and journey-planning tool. Timetables, upcoming buses, estimated times, routes, walking segments, transfers and all other results displayed are indicative and may not always reflect the actual state of the service.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the developer and janubio.com accept no liability for losses, delays, damages, expenses, missed connections or any other harm arising directly or indirectly from use of the application, errors in its calculations or algorithms — including the algorithm used by the “Directions” feature — incorrect, incomplete or outdated information obtained from official or third-party sources, external service interruptions, loss of connectivity, service changes or incidents outside the application's control.
The user must assess the results provided by the application and, whenever accuracy is particularly important, verify them through the relevant official channels before making decisions based solely on those results.
Mi Guagua TF does not replace TITSA's official channels and does not guarantee the availability, punctuality, continuity or actual operation of any transport service.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any rights or responsibilities that applicable law recognises as mandatory for consumers and users.
13. Proper use of the application
The user agrees to use Mi Guagua TF lawfully and in accordance with its informational purpose. The application must not be used to interfere with external services, carry out abusive automated access, attempt to circumvent technical protection measures or engage in activities contrary to law.
14. Applicable law
These terms shall be interpreted in accordance with Spanish law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent authorities or courts determined by applicable law, while always respecting the rights of consumers and users.
15. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated to reflect changes to Mi Guagua TF, the services it uses or applicable regulations. The current version will be the version published on this page and will display its date of update.
